Do U Have “Living Hope”?

What is the definition of hope in the dictionary: Hope is to cherish a desire or an optimistic state of mind one have, which is based on an expectation of something that you want to happen.

But what does it mean to have the “living hope” that God gives us? That “living hope” is the result of what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. The fact that He died for you and through His resurrection made it possible for you to be born again into a living hope (1 Peter 1:3).

Hope is very important to us. Hope is as important to us, as water is to a fish or as fundamental as having electricity to use a light bulb. Because our society is characterized by a flooding sense of hopelessness, therefore it’s important for you and me to introduce our “genuine eternal hope” to the world. Don Basham made a very powerful and true statement I want to share with you. He said: “Our hope lies not in the man we put on the moon, but in the man, we put on the cross” and I want to tell you that’s so true because believe me, humans will fail you, but God never does. I also asked one of my friends what living hope means to her and her explanation was so nicely put to me, she said that you must live as if there is a tomorrow. You can only do that if you’ve got the “living hope” God gives inside of you, and you can only accomplish that when you accept God into your live and let Him be in control of it.

I want to challenge you to trust God enough to expect His “living hope” in your life.
