If you understand what sin is, you can deal with that what causes a rift between you and God. The theological comprehension of sin is the rift between God and man. This rift between God and man is caused by ethical and moral misconduct. 1 John 3:4 describes it so beautiful for me. John describes it as disobedience to God. You know that your body is a temple of God and if sin infected that body of yours which is God’s temple, then according to Psalm 51:6 sin is a rebellion against God. One thing that you must remember is that anything or anyone that take God’s place in your life, becomes a sin and according to Proverbs 27 sin leads to the hell.
Do you feel like you fallen into a pit or like a deadly snake has bitten you or even as if you were bond in chains? Sin makes you feel that way. Sin is like a leopard. If it’s small it is harmless. But if it grows it becomes a cruel predator. If you allow in to become so great in your life and if he keeps jou in captivity so God can’t work through you, and are you no threat to him.
Fortunately for you and me, God has a sulotion for sin! Unfortunately, you cannot change your sinful nature, but God can. You can not save yourself by doing good work or by obeying the law. God’s solution for sin is Jesus Christ His only begotten Son.
